September 2010 – Borough IT win 2010 Global Business Excellence Award for
outstanding IT services

Borough IT is pleased to announce that it has been selected by a panel of judges
for its outstanding IT services. It has been a good year for Borough IT and this
award is testament to the hard work that has been applied throughout the year by
all members of staff.

July 2010 – Chartered Institute for Securities & Investments – Borough IT
Chosen to partner CISI in redeveloping the in-house operational systems.

After successfully completing a number of boutique projects, Borough IT has
developed a close and trusted working relationship with CISI; leading on from
this successful relationship Borough IT has been selected as the preferred
choice supplier to take on the task of replacing its core systems with an
entirely new platform. This major project will involve the integration of a
number of peripheral systems to provide CISI with a structured and stable
platform from which all elements of the business can be managed.
Work on the project has now started and, when finished, replacing the current
systems will ensure that CISI benefit from a modern highly flexible system which
will grow this ever advancing leading institute. Due to the modular nature of
Borough IT systems any future IT requirements or additional services can be
quickly and seamlessly integrated into the main system; creating a growing
‘whole’ system rather than a number of separate tools linked together.

July 2010 - People Insight online content managed survey tool for senior
managers.

Borough IT / White Orange have been selected to produce a new Content Management
System that enables People Insight to set-up, tailor and manage new 360 reports
for clients. The online application delivers and manages feedback surveys for
leaders and managers, enabling them to review the effectiveness of leaders and
managers within the respective organisation, and to provide them with feedback.
Borough IT created a comprehensive and user friendly content management system
which was more intelligent and contained more functionality then their historic
system. The most important feature of the new system is the ability to create
surveys themselves, and surveys can now be generated in-house in a fast and
efficient manner, without the need for an IT company involvement.

June 2010 - Get connected / Get Foolish web design and content Management
site utilising integrated You Tube Technology.

Borough IT’s web division (white orange) created this innovative web design
project for charity Get Connected in partnership with the Carphone Warehouse.
The site www.getfoolish.org/ uses integrated ‘You Tube’ technology to enable
advanced upload and encoding of video. The site allows user content of videos
and photos to be uploaded to document fundraising activity, also enabling them
to view and vote for favourite pictures and videos of other Carphone Warehouse
fundraising teams.

May 2010 – GGF Insurance back office insurance admin system.

Due to the ongoing successful relationship between the businesses, Borough IT
was approached to produce an extensive back-end system for the administration of
all GGFi insurance schemes. GGFi is a provider of specialist warranty and
deposit protection for the glazing industry and currently handles the facilities
for over 1800 registered members and their customers. The system that Borough IT
has developed enables the swift and efficient processing of policy registration,
documentation, certification and invoicing. In addition to this, the system
provides GGFi with a comprehensive membership management database which -
coupled with the policy processing system – has enabled this complex business to
be administrated far more effectively.

April 2010 –Shine and Place group Ltd online interactive questionnaire.

Borough IT developed the online diagnostic Health check Tool for Place Group and
Shine Creative. Place Group provide consultancy, programme management and
delivery services which are focused on implementing many major children’s
services programmes for central and local government, schools and communities.
The interactive tool that Borough IT produced is essentially a micro site
questionnaire that collates the responses to a report with appropriate summaries
and score that is then sent to the appropriate managers.
